On a physical Steam card, gently scratch the strip on the back to reveal the code. An e-code usually arrives by email from the seller. Type it exactly. Steam Support notes 0 is easily confused with O, Q or D, 1 with I, B with 8 and G with 6. Or add a clear photo.
